|Description:||The Marketing Assistant provides essential administrative support for ongoing marketing efforts including production management of multimedia communications, advertising, event logistics, and supporter inquiries for information and materials. This is a part-time position (15 hours per week).|
- Coordinate production of multimedia collateral through tasks including scheduling, acquiring vendor quotes, shepherding content and design elements, proofing, placement, processing contracts, processing payments, and organization of products and assets.
Coordinate event marketing logistics including exhibit registrations, staff representation, materials, displays, and vendor transactions.
Manage email accounts for constituent communications.
Other marketing and production related administrative tasks as assigned.
Engagement in agency -wide activities and initiatives including all-staff meetings, working groups or task forces and implementation of strategic initiatives.
Engagement in ongoing professional development.

Undergraduate degree and a minimum of three years' experience in administrative or project management role, preferred.
Proven track record of success managing details of projects and logistics through to completion.
Demonstrated customer service skills.
Experience with proofreading or high attention to detail and willingness to learn proofreading.
Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite including Excel; Adobe Acrobat or Photoshop a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Detail oriented and organized with the flexibility to adjust solutions and strategies as needed.
Ability multi-task while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Experience with and commitment to working in a very diverse workforce.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
